As of yesterday I have begun working on the second main part of my internship. Recently I have had to deal with the setback of the begining of registration/advising for the upcoming summer and fall semesters.
Over break, which I am not to thrilled about, I plan to start putting together a rough draft for the departments new Sociology/Anthropology/Criminology Student Handbook. Though this doesn't seem too difficult I plan to draw upon what is currently available online from other universities for ideas as far as layout and design.
As for now that is all, but as this project progresses I should have a great deal more to talk about in the next few weeks.

You're certainly adopting commonly used practice here in terms of generating design and layout ideas through looking at other examples. I'd be interested in hearing more about your evaluation of the layout and design that you saw in the current form of the handbook, your analysis of the problems this layout and design caused, your discussion of the layout and design decisions you ultimately made, and your explanation of how these changes will improve students' and faculty advisors' abilities to make efficient, effective use of the handbook.
